  • Who do I contact for the Harvest HOA?

Harvest’s homeowners association is managed by FirstService Residential. Start with the HOA email and website for account, amenities, and general questions.

    What to do
Email the HOA management team and check the HOA site for portals, forms, and notices. Confirm anything time-sensitive in writing.
    Who handles it
    FirstService Residential · harvest@fsresidential.com
  • Do I need approval before exterior changes (fence, paint, landscaping)?

Exterior changes in Harvest usually need ACC written approval before work starts. Do not rely on neighbor advice or informal verbal OK for rules that affect the property exterior.

    What to do
Submit your request through the HOA / ACC process and wait for written approval before you schedule contractors or buy materials. Confirm current guidelines with management.
    Who handles it
Harvest HOA / ACC via FirstService Residential
  • Where are HOA documents and guidelines?

Official HOA documents, notices, and resident resources are published through the Harvest HOA website and FirstService channels — not through this directory.

    What to do
Use the HOA website first. If you cannot find a governing document, email management and ask for the current source of truth.
    Who handles it
    FirstService Residential / Harvest HOA
  • I’m new to Harvest — where should I start?

Open the short New to Harvest walkthrough. It has two paths: new to the area (towns, schools, county) or new to the neighborhood (HOA, trash, safety, groups).

    What to do
Take the tour once, then use Find help for specific “who handles this?” questions.

  • What’s the difference between west and east Harvest Way?

Harvest is not one simple “city” box. A common community pattern is west of Harvest Way ≈ Northlake ETJ / Belmont FWSD 1 and east ≈ Argyle ETJ / Belmont FWSD 2 — but you should still verify by address for schools, water, and town rules.

    What to do
Check your tax statement, water bill, school finder, and the Government page overview before assuming which side’s contacts apply.
    Who handles it
Varies by address — towns, water districts, and school districts can differ by lot
  • What does ETJ mean for Harvest residents?

Extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) usually means you live near a town but are not inside town limits. Day-to-day services and taxes can work differently than for in-town residents. A mailing city of “Argyle” does not by itself prove town limits, ISD, or water district.

    What to do
Read the short setup explainer, then confirm your property on official maps / bills.
    Who handles it
Towns (Argyle / Northlake), Denton County, and special districts — by address
  • What’s the difference between Belmont FWSD 1 and FWSD 2?

Belmont FWSD 1 is often associated with west / Northlake ETJ; Belmont FWSD 2 is often associated with east / Argyle ETJ. Boards set district rates and infrastructure — confirm which district serves your lot.

    What to do
Check your water / district paperwork, then use the matching district site. Board rosters change.
    Who handles it
Belmont Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 or No. 2 (by address)
  • Who do I call about water billing?

It depends on your side of Harvest. Northlake billing is often used on the west / FWSD 1 pattern; Argyle Water Supply / Argyle Public Works references often appear on the east / FWSD 2 pattern. Always verify by address and your actual bill.

    What to do
Pull your latest water bill and call the number printed there. If you’re unsure which district you’re in, check Belmont FWSD 1/2 sites and the Government page.
    Who handles it
Town of Northlake billing (often west) or Argyle Water Supply / Public Works references (often east) — confirm by address
  • Is Harvest PID still active?

Harvest PID #1 was dissolved (Northlake Town Council, Oct 2024). This directory does not list it as an active district.

    What to do
Ignore outdated “PID” references that treat it as current. Use Belmont FWSD / town / county contacts for active special districts.
    Who handles it
    Not applicable — district dissolved
  • Who handles trash and recycling?

Harvest trash service in our Community Profile is Waste Connections: pickup Monday & Thursday, recycling on Mondays. Do not switch providers based on rumor — confirm with the number below if something looks wrong on your street.

    What to do
Set out on the published schedule; call Waste Connections for missed pickup, carts, or holiday changes.
    Who handles it
    Waste Connections · (972) 392-9300
  • When is bulk trash pickup?

Bulk pickup is scheduled for the first Monday of each month (Community Profile). Confirm any size/item limits with Waste Connections before you leave items at the curb.

    What to do
Place eligible bulk items according to hauler rules for the first Monday; call if you need a special pickup.
    Who handles it
    Waste Connections · (972) 392-9300
  • Which school district serves my house — Argyle ISD or Northwest ISD?

Harvest spans Argyle ISD (often east) and Northwest ISD (often west). A mailing address that says Argyle does not guarantee Argyle ISD. Always use the official school finders.

    What to do
Enter your address in both district tools if you’re unsure, then enroll with the district that returns your campus.
    Who handles it
Argyle ISD or Northwest ISD — by address
  • Who handles property taxes — appraisal vs tax office?

At a high level in Texas, an appraisal district values property, while a tax office / collector handles billing and payment. Harvest homes can also see special-district lines (for example water districts). Confirm entities on your own statement.

    What to do
Read your tax statement for taxing units, then use Denton County’s official sites for appraisal or payment questions. Don’t rely on a neighbor’s bill.
    Who handles it
Denton County appraisal and tax collection offices (plus any special districts on your statement)
  • Where do I register to vote or find my polling place?

Use official Texas and Denton County election tools. Confirm your precinct before Election Day — Harvest can span more than one precinct.

    What to do
Register or update at VoteTexas, look up your precinct / sample ballot tools via VoteDenton and the Secretary of State voter tools, and check Denton County Elections for early voting.
    Who handles it
Texas Secretary of State / Denton County Elections
  • What number do I call in an emergency?

Call 911 for police, fire, or medical emergencies. Do not use directory contact lists when someone is in immediate danger.

    What to do
Call 911, give your address clearly, and follow dispatcher instructions.
    Who handles it
    Emergency dispatch (911)
    Source
    Always 911 for emergencies
  • Who do I call for non-emergency police?

For non-emergencies, verify the correct agency by address / side of Harvest Way. Our contacts list includes Argyle PD and Northlake PD numbers as a starting point — civic setup can vary by lot, so confirm before you assume.

    What to do
If it’s urgent or unsafe, call 911. Otherwise verify your jurisdiction and use the matching non-emergency line, or see Government for how Harvest’s civic setup works.
    Who handles it
Argyle PD or Northlake PD — verify by address (do not invent contract details)
  • Who provides fire / EMS?

Fire / EMS for this community profile is Denton County ESD No. 1. Always call 911 for emergencies; use the ESD non-emergency number for non-urgent questions.

    What to do
    Emergencies → 911. Non-emergency questions → ESD No. 1.
    Who handles it
    Denton County ESD No. 1 · non-emergency (940) 464-7102

  • What’s the difference between Featured Sponsor and community content?

Featured Sponsor is a paid ad placement reviewed by platform admin — not a Community Editor “pick.” Community Help, Groups, Government, and Happening-style resources are editorial / resident content.

    What to do
Treat sponsor strips as advertising. Use Help / Groups / Government for community resources.
